SELAMAT DATANG (Welcome) to the Faculty of Management and Human Resource Development (FPPSM), Universiti Teknologi Malaysia.

Management and human resource development form the fundamentals to the development and growth of organizations and businesses. As the Dean of FPPSM, I am impressed by the enormous talents, capabilities, achievements and potential of our faculty, staff, students and alumni. Our faculty members and graduates are well positioned to support the Malaysia's vibrant economies.

The faculty offers a wide range of laboratories, classes and lecture halls, equipped with teaching and learning equipment to suit the teaching and learning concepts based on problem centered, action learning and practical application of the subjects taught. Within the 'century of knowledge', we have embarked on a radical reform of the curriculum with emphasis on outcome-based learning that imparts skills such as critical thinking, and self directed, life-long learning to enhance our graduates’ employability potential.

Though FPPSM is surrounded by engineering and technical faculties, we aim to become a centre for promoting excellence in education and research in the areas of business, economy and management related disciplines. We encourage our students to be involved in various extra-curricular activities in order to inspire their leadership skills, enhance decision making competencies, sharpen communication skills, improve team work among students, build self-confidence, develop an attractive personalities and to improve creativity and innovativeness. To complement these activities, we have initiated plans for our students to embark on outbound program to other universities abroad.
