Programme Objectives:

  1. To provide graduates with sufficient basic knowledge and skills in psychology as well as in industrial and organizational psychology
  2. To produce psychologists who are trained and capable of functioning as a manager, administrator, researcher, consultant and academic staff in any public and private sector organization.
  3. To produce graduates who are qualified to be accredited by national and international psychological professional body.
  4. To produce graduates who are capable of applying their psychological knowledge and skills effectively and efficiently with full integrity when pursuing their career.
  5. To produce graduates who are knowledgeable and skillfull in conducting diagnosis activities, evaluating problems, and suggesting a practical solution on human problems in any organization as well as in the society.
  6. To develop creativity and innovative among students.


Career Prospects and Career Path: I-O psychology is a diverse field with opportunities in several different areas. Many I-O psychologists work in business in positions dealing with worker productivity, employee training and assessment, and human resources. Other I-O psychologists work in research or academic positions. Specific specialty areas in I-O psychology include human-computer interaction and human factors. Consulting opportunities are also available for experienced I-O psychologists.
